Guiding You to the Next Step

I have been involved with competitive sports my whole life. Wakeboarding, snowboarding, track, football, sailing, stand up paddle board, basketball, baseball, skateboarding, rock climbing, cycling, power lifting and many more. Throughout all of this I have dealt with numerous setbacks and injuries which has given me a vast view of holistic health.  My love of the outdoors was further enhanced during my years in university life. I received two bachelor's degree's in ecology and environmental studies. I then used my experiences to have numerous occupations. Working on oil rigs as a field geologist, commercial fishing boats and in the Rocky mountains as a biologist; snowboarding and wakeboarding coach; middle school science teacher, service learning curriculum development; and I currently work as an environmental scientist helping to clean up our planet. 

The aggregation of all of my interests and my natural gifts as a teacher has given me a platform to help others enjoy the natural world through the adventure sports that constantly defines my sense of place and connection to the broader plant and animal communities of Earth. 

When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy: wakeboarding; surfing; snowboarding; kite boarding; weightlifting; running; cycling; long road trips; and playing guitar.
